Real Time Effluent Monitoring
Effluent quality is continuously monitored through automatic measurement of effluent quality if, as in the case of system upset, effluent is outside of prescribed parameters, the system continues to process until effluent of acceptable quality is produced. Treated water is then either pumped directly overboard, or pumped to onboard ship storage tanks for eventual discharge ( i.e. ship operations in no discharge zones).
Fully Programmable Automation
All Navalis Orion® Systems are fully automated using an Allen-Bradley Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). The PLC is equipped with modem or ethernet internet connectivity for reach-back monitoring of off ship system performance. This enables Navalis specialists to ensure continued reliable service of the system and predict and trouble shoot operational issues.
Quality Craftsmanship & Simple Installation
Navalis adheres to an ease of installation philosophy resulting in each component fitting through standard ship door and hatch sizes for ease of rigging to the designated system compartment. The arrangement allows for easy access to areas requiring routine maintenance. Navalis has designed the Poseidon System for continuous operation with a minimum number of moving parts to minimize maintenance costs. The Navalis Orion® Systems are crafted of the finest materials by the finest craftsmen and are ready for long service. Most components are constructed from 316L Stainless Steel, affording long life to system components.
